The first CHARGE Syndrome Awareness Day was celebrated on August 8 2024 and also marked the 20 year anniversary of the paper’s publication online. The awareness day theme was CHARGE: How do you spell it? and the aim was to create the letters ‘C-H-A-R-G-E’ in a variety of ways to show the variability of CHARGE syndrome. The creative global community created C-H-A-R-G-E in hundreds of ways, sharing them on social media enabling the word CHARGE to be seen in many different ways right across the globe.
